9th November Registration 0800 am Shooting Commences 0900.
Adult Registration Fee $30 / Junior Participants Free
Bacon and Egg Breakfast and BBQ Lunch covered by Registration Fees.
NOTE: The Branch also has SMLE .303 and Remington 1903 in 30-06 caliber rifles that can be used.
Rifle and Pistol Eligibility
Military: As issued rifle. Iron Sights only, NO special target Sights e.g. Parker Hale
As issued service pistol. Iron Sights ONLY, NO special target sights
Scoped Rifle: Any sight, any chassis, No Bipods
Type & order of shoots:
Military Service Match
- 5 sighting Shots
- 5 rounds standing offhand
- 5 rounds sitting/kneeling
- 5 rounds prone or sitting/kneeling (No Bipods)
Rapid Fire event Unlimited rounds @ 50m over 30 seconds
Sniper 10 rounds @ 200 M
Scope Rifle match
Match 300 m, Sniper @ 400 m Rapid at 75 M
5 rounds Sighting
5 rounds Sitting
5 rounds sitting or kneeling
5 rounds prone or sitting
Rapid Fire Match
Unlimited rounds in 20 seconds @ 75M
Sniper Match
Prone @ 400M 10 rounds
Pistol Type & order of shoot:
· Slow Fire: 10 rounds in 10 minutes @35M
· Rapid Fire: 10 rounds in 10 second @35M
If using revolver it will be split into 2 x 5 shots in 5 seconds each
Unfortunately , due to new NT Police rules NO person without a current category H class licence is permitted to handle a pistol and participate in Category H events.
Sporting: Match and sniper target small Service Target
Rapid 100M Centre Fire Target
Military: Larger and small service targets to compensate for lack of Scope
