Procedure Membership Application
SSAA Darwin Branch has introduced an online membership system for new members wishing to join and old members renewing their membership.
The program being used is a computer-based system called WILD APRICOT. Wild Apricot will be used to send members notifications of events, membership requirements and any other club contact.
It will be the MEMBERS' responsibility to keep their personal profile information up to date i.e. SSAA National expiry dates and personal details such as phone and email. The procedure is outlined below
Applicants can join by accessing: www.ssaadarwin.com.au NOTE YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE THE MEMBERSHIP LEVEL LISTED BELOW! and THEN COMPLETE THE REST OF THE DETAILS ON FUTURE PAGES.
Applicants then click: JOIN US (new applicants must sign up initially, you will then be able to log in to your account thereafter) To do this you access the head and shoulder icon on the RHS of the page
Applicants select the appropriate membership category and complete the online membership application process.
NOTE:: Family membership will require the main member (called a bundle administrator) to add any additional family members after the member has completed the joining process.
Joining members will be required to either attend at the Membership Office at the Mickett Creek complex to have a photo taken or supply a passport size photo to Membership@SSAADarwin.com.au. Ensure that you include your name with the photo!!
Once membership application details are entered, the applicant can either pay the membership via online PAYPAL, which accepts credit card payments, or go to the membership office and pay in cash or credit card to the Membership Officer.
A Membership Officer will normally be available on Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Saturdays 12:30 to 3:00 pm during May, June and July.
All Applications will receive email invoices and notification of when payments are completed.
New applications will be approved by the membership officer and an email sent to the members that their membership has been approved.
This approval process can take some time to be completed.
NOTE once membership has been completed and paid new members ARE permitted to attend the range for shooting activities.
For your Branch Membership to be approved and valid, so must your National Membership!
